Dr. Da Yan

Biography

Dr. Da Yan is a Tenured Professor at School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. He mainly devotes into three fields: (1) Development of building performance simulation toolkit DeST; (2) Research on quantitative description of occupant behavior; (3) Research on building energy consumption model of China and low-carbon and energy-saving related policy. Based on the above researches, Prof. Yan has published over 200 pieces of papers, more than ten books and reports, and acquired over ten patents and software copyrights. He serves as Editor-in-Chief Editor of Building Simulation, which is the first SCI journal in the field of building simulation all over the world. In 2019, he was awarded the title as IBPSA-Fellow. In 2018, he was awarded “Best Review Paper” of Energy and buildings. In 2017, he was awarded “Highly Cited Paper Award” of Building Simulation.    ⇐ geri
