Biography

Livio Mazzarella, Ph.D. in Energetics, M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, is Full Professor of Building Physics and Buildings Energy Systems at Politecnico di Milano and is currently teaching “Climatization and Buildings Physics”, “Acoustics in Building”, “Energy Efficiency in Buildings”.

His research field spans from HVAC and Renewable Energy to Applied Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer and Acoustics and he is mainly devoted to energy processes modeling in buildings and community systems.

He is member of different standardization working groups, at national and European level, in the field of energy in buildings.

He is president of SC5-CTI (sub-committee of National Standard Organization) on HVAC; he is also board member of IBPSA Italian section, REHVA Fellow, active member of serval REHVA Committees and is chairing of the REHVA Cooperation Group.    ⇐ geri
