Sarven ÇİLİNGİROĞLU

Sarven Çilingiroğlu was born in Istanbul in 1963. He graduated from Getronagan High School in 1980 and from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in 1984. In the same year, he began his master’s studies at the ITU Institute of Science and Technology and completed his degree in 1987 in the Energy Program of the Mechanical Engineering Department, as a MSc Mechanical Engineer.

During his graduate studies, he worked part-time for one year at Honeywell in the field of “Building Automation”. In 1986, he completed a two-month internship at York International in the United Kingdom, where he conducted research for his master’s thesis on heat pumps. He fulfilled his military service between 1987 and 1989.

He served as;
Board Member of the Turkish Society of HVAC and Sanitary Engineers (TTMD) during the 6th term (2003–2004) and the 10th term (2011–2012).
Chairman of the Board in the 12th term (2015–2016)
Vice Chairman in the 13th term (2017–2018).
Board Member of CLIMAMED, the Federation of Mediterranean HVAC Associations in 2017
Vice Chairman of the Board of ISKAV (Foundation for Research and Education in Heating, Cooling and Air Conditioning) during its 8th term (2018–2021).
He is currently serving as ISKAV Chairman of the Board for the 9th and 10th terms (2021–present).

He is the owner of Çilingiroğlu Engineering, a company providing mechanical installation design, supervision, and consultancy services.

He is married and has two children.
