Frank Hovorka started his career in 1990 in construction field for VINCI group in Eastern Europe based in Prague.
He worked with a team specialised in construction of offices and hotel buildings. He worked then as a manager in asset and facilities management for a portfolio of 300.000 m2 of offices and retail asset in Eastern Europe, too. In France from 2000 he participated for ICADE in Paris region (a REIT company) in the development of several commercial buildings focusing on sustainable development (offices, data center, TV studios) and a project of 40 000 m2 of green shopping mall.
In 2005 he achieved the first French private office building certified as a Â« green building Â» by Certivea (French green building council).
In January 2007, he joined the international real estate department of Icade (real estate integrated developer).
In Munich, he achieved in 2010, one of the first office building of 20 000 m2 with the gold certification by DGNB (German green building council) From September 2010 he worked for the â€œCaisse des depotsâ€ group in charge of the real estate sustainable development policy and then with the team in charge of the investment group strategy on behalf of the deputy general manager.
Between 2017 and 2018 he was the head of Strategy for the real estate developer group Quartus. Since 2019, he is the technical and innovation director of the French federation of real estate developers (FPI France).
He is also involved in research projects on digitalisation and data analytics, nearly zero energy buildings and translation into financial indicators for the green value through several research project and international bodies (SBA, IISBE, REHVA, RICS, UNEP FI PWG, EEFIG) ⇐ back
