Professor Cheol-Soo Park has shown his academic achievement in the area of building simulation through his extensive publication record and the mentoring of students who have achieved prestigious global and domestic recognition under his guidance. Professor Park’s career spans impactful positions serving as an advisory council member for the President of Republic of Korea (ROK) on science & technology, the representative of IBPSA-Korea and the 15th president of the Korean Institute of Society of Architectural Sustainable Environment and Building Systems (KIAEBS). His recent research interests include MPC for real-life cases, physics-informed AI, federated learning model, causality-based model, model calibration, and occupant behavior.
